I’m Olga, and I run 90books and Booky, the daily romantasy word game. This is the short, honest version of what I collect and what I do with it. If anything here isn’t clear, email me at hello@90books.com and I’ll answer properly.
When you buy a feature day or a launch pack, checkout collects your name, your email, your book title, the date you’d like, and any word ideas you feel like sending. I use those to run your feature and to email you about it. Nothing else.
Your payment is handled by Stripe, not by me. I never see or store your card number. I can see that a payment happened, for how much, and the details you typed into the form.
You can play without giving me anything. Your streak and your game history live in your own browser.
If you sign up for the reader newsletter, I keep your email address so I can send it. Those emails go out through Resend, which records whether an email was delivered and opened. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you.
I use PostHog to count things like how many people played today and which links got clicked. It’s how the numbers on the authors page and in your feature report exist at all. If you’d rather not be counted, add ?notrack=1 to any 90books URL and I’ll leave you out.
Email hello@90books.com and ask me what I hold on you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I’ll do it. I keep author records for as long as I need them for tax and accounting, which is the one thing I can’t delete on request.
