What’s here

Booky, the daily romantasy word game. One five-letter word a day. Guess it and you unlock a book, with the cover, the author and where to buy it. Sometimes it’s one you’ve never heard of. Sometimes it’s one you already love, and maybe it’s time for a reread ;)

That’s the whole idea. Booky doesn’t tell you what to read. Every day, it puts one book in front of you when you finish the puzzle, and lets you decide. Finding your next read should feel like the fun part, not homework.

Everything the game has ever featured lives on the Booky library page, for when you’d rather browse than wait for tomorrow’s word.

How a book gets chosen

No algorithm picks these. I read the genre myself and I handpick every word and the book it’s tied to.

• The word has to genuinely belong to the book, not just have five letters.
• Paying for a feature day never buys a good review. An author can buy the date their book appears. They can’t buy what I say about it.

How it’s paid for

Authors can book a feature day, and some book links are Amazon affiliate links that may earn me a small cut at no cost to you. No ads, no ad trackers, and I don’t sell reader data. The privacy page is the long version.
